Basic Peer Counseling Class Starts September 13, 2021

If you would like to be a volunteer peer counselor at the Heart to Heart Center.  Please fill out the application below.  After you turn in the application we will schedule you for an interview.  Then you will need to take the Basic Peer Counseling 14-week intensive Training Class.

Family Therapy group

  • Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
  • Is continually seeking to grow into emotional and spiritual maturity 
  • Is in agreement with CWM statement of faith
  • Lives a life of integrity
  • Has a passion for  helping hurting women
  • Part of a local body of Christ
  • Complete application process and required training to volunteer in a local center

A CWM volunteer:

  • Become a receptionist.  Maybe you can only help once a month, or you can help with reception once a week.  We can work with your schedule.   There is a 3 hour crisis training class required to work in reception. You must also fill out the Volunteer application below.
  • Become a peer counselor.  Peer counselors will have to take a 14 week Basic Peer Counseling Course along with a 10 week study, "Making Peace with Your Past."  You must also fill out the Volunteer Application below.

  1. Admit the struggle and hurt. (John 8:32)
  2. Share the struggle. (Psalm 32:3; James 5:16; Mark 4:22)
  3. Bring the situation to Jesus. (Psalm 107:20; Isaiah 53:5b; Philippians 3:13b, 14)

Other ways to be involved at Heart to Heart

  • Follow our Facebook page @hthcwm, share our posts on your page, this will help our message reach more people
  • Display our flyers in your office or on community boards, stop by the center and we will provide you with advertising materials
  • Donate your Christian books to our lending library, or even stop in and check out a book
  • Schedule a presentation at your organizations next event 
  • Inform your pastor that we are here to help when the pastor is unable to provide private counseling
  • Remember to pray for the mission of Heart to Heart CWM
  • Become a monthly or one time donor
